Gene: [01p3/HTR1D] 5-hydroxytryptamine (serotonin) receptor 1D; [HTRL RDC4 ]
COM |
[1] A few other HTR1 functional genes and one non-functional copy of
HTR1D are identified; most of them have been mapped to particular
chromosomes. In addition, serotonin transporter (GEM:17q1/SLC6A4)
has been also mapped.
[2] The molecular product is one of the several different receptors for 5-hydroxytryptamine (serotonin), a biogenic hormone that function as a neurotransmitter (a hormone and a mitogen). The activity of this receptor is mediated by G proteins inhibiting adenylate cyclase." |
