[1] Two other IgG Fc receptors (low-affinity) have been identified and mapped: Fc-gamma II (protein p40; GEM:01q23/IGHGR2A) and Fc-gamma III (protein p50-70; GEM:01q23/IGHGR3A). Their cDNAs are cloned. All the three proteins belong to the multigene superfamily of immunoglobulin-like peptides; see FAM:IMM/00.0.
[2] The following IgG Fc receptors are identified: high-affinity 1 receptor (Fc-gamma I, protein 72; this gene, as well as GEM:01p12/IGHGR1B, GEM:01q21/IGHGR1C); low-affinity 2 receptor (Fc-gamma II, protein p40; see GEM:01q23/IGHGR2A and GEM:01q23/IGHGR2B); low-affinity 3 receptor (Fc-gamma III, protein p50-70; see GEM:01q23/IGHGR3A and GEM:01q23/IGHGR3B)."
