Risk-1994 mapped the TOC gene to Chr 17q23-ter within a 4-cM region between D17S785 and D17S937 telomeric to the type I keratin gene cluster on Chr 17q21-22. Hennies-1995 confirmed this location. Kelsell-1996 reduced the genetic interval containing the TOC locus to approximately 1cM. Stevens-1996 refined the cytogenetic location to Chr 17q24." |
