[1] The FARSL cDNA encodes a protein that is a close homolog of one
subunit
of prokaryote and yeast phenylalanyl-tRNA synthetase (PheRS). The
expressed protein reacts specificially with polyclonal antibodies raised
against mammalian phenylalanyl-tRNA synthetase (Sen-1997).
