Slatter D: Conjunctiva. In: Slatter D, ed: Fundamentals of Veterinary Ophthalmology, 2nd ed. Philadelphia: WB Saunders, 1990, pp 204-225. This chapter is well illustrated and has many tables, which is good for quick reference.
