Gene: [12p1/KLRB1] killer cell lectin-like receptor subfamily B, member 1; natural killer receptor; antigen CD161; [NKR-P1A CD161 ]
COM |
[1] The KLRB1 gene was mapped to Chr 12p1 with use of a somatic cell
hybrid panel (Lanier-1994) and fluorescence in situ hybridization
and analysis of a YAC contig (Renedo-1997),
[2] The KLRB1 gene, or NKRP1A or NKR, is the most distal gene in an NK gene complex (NKC) located at Chr 12p13-p12. The NKC contains several C-type lectin genes preferentially expressed in NK cells, including CD69 (GEM:12p1/CD69), members of the NKG2 family (see GEM:12p1/KLRC1), and CD94 (GEM:12p1/KLRD1) (Renedo-1997)." |
