COM | Braun-1989 assigned the MYF5 gene to Chr 12. Later Braun-1990 located the MYF6 gene (GEM:12q21/MYF6) 6.5kb upstream of MYF5 (in the same transcriptional orientation). Cupelli-1996 assigned the myogenic factors 5 and 6 gene cluster to 12q21 by in situ hybridization and physically mapped the locus between markers D12S350 and D12S106." |
