Gene: [00.0/DOK1] docking protein 1 (downstream of tyrosine kinase 1); [p62dok ]
SUM |
62-kD DOK1 protein is constitutively tyrosine phosphorylated in hematopoietic progenitors isolated from patients in the chronic phase of the chronic myelogenous leukemia caused by t(9;22) translocation and associated with the presence of a fusion p210(bcr/abl) protein (see GEM:09q341/ABL1; GEM:22q1122/BCR1). The DOK1 protein may be a critical p210(bcr/abl) protein-tyrosine kinase substrate (Wisniewski-1994). The predicted 481-amino acid protein contains a putative pleckstrin homology domain at the N terminus and 10 PXXP SH3 recognition motifs (Carpino-1997)." |
