receptor (R-IL2) consists of alpha, beta and gamma subunits encoded by
different genes. A heterodimer composed of alpha and beta subunits
represents the high-affinity R-IL2 form (Tsudo-1986). [2] In contrast to R-IL2 alpha subunit, the beta subunit (protein p75) seems to be able to bind fibronectin independently and to exhibit the properties of the low-affinity receptor, which is found on the membrane of T lymphocytes much more frequently than the high-affinity one is." |
